Accountability

What you present on stage has an impact on the lives of others.  Responsible performances are intentional in everything from costuming, action/movement, and song choice. 

Ask yourself questions about each potential performance:

What was the intention/message of the song's artist? 

What is my intention/message of the performance? 

Do I need to use props or special costuming to convey my intention/message? 
(If you have a satirical message or a critique of the song/artist)

What clear distinctions am I making between my performance
and the original song? 

Additionally, some actively engaged audiences and fellow performers will hold
you accountable for the experience you give them while you are on stage.
